Terms of Use

1. What BudgetAI is

BudgetAI is a personal finance tracker with an AI assistant: it recognizes transactions from chat messages, categorizes them, tracks budgets, debts and planned payments, imports bank statements and builds spending reports. It is distributed on Google Play, RuStore and the App Store as BudgetAI.

2. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the service
• Keep your sign-in credentials secure — you are responsible for all activity under your account
• You can delete your account at any time in the app settings; this permanently deletes all your data

4. Not financial advice

• The AI assistant analyzes only the data you have entered, and its responses are for informational purposes only
• AI responses may contain errors or inaccuracies — always double-check figures that matter
• Nothing in the app constitutes investment, tax, legal or other professional financial advice
• All financial decisions you make remain your own responsibility

5. Purchases

• Some AI features may require paid packs of AI messages — one-time purchases, not subscriptions
• The price is always shown before purchase; payments are processed by Google Play, the App Store or YooKassa (in the RuStore version) — we never receive your card details
• Purchased packs are tied to your account, do not expire and cannot be transferred to another account
• Refunds are handled under the rules of the store or payment provider you purchased through; when you delete your account, unused packs are forfeited
• We may change prices and pack contents; changes never affect packs you have already purchased

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service for unlawful purposes
• attempt to access other users' data or the service's infrastructure
• disrupt or overload the service, or bypass its technical limitations
• use automated tools to mass-generate AI requests, or resell access to the service

7. Your data

• Everything you enter into the app remains yours
• You grant us the technical right to store and process this data solely to provide the service — details in the Privacy Policy
• Deleting your account permanently removes all your data

8. Service availability

• The service is provided "as is" and "as available"; we work to keep it reliable but cannot guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation
• We may change, suspend or discontinue individual features; we will notify you of substantial changes in advance
• The service depends on third-party providers (Google Firebase, Anthropic, payment services); their outages may cause temporary unavailability

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service operator is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or financial decisions made based on the app's data or AI responses. In any case, total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service during the last 12 months.

10. Termination

• You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time
• We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated, notifying you where reasonably possible

11. Changes to these terms

We will notify you of significant changes in the app at least 7 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the updated terms.
